I accidentally dropped my phone from second floor, phone is fine and case took all damage and it is still 100% usable. It also feels nice to touch. The kickstand is a little flimsy but it doesn't look like it'll ever break. The case is a little thick and prevents some charging cables from making full contact, but these are compromises I am willing to make for such a rugged case. Is this normal?** A: I had this problem and was able to correct it. The common problem is because this particular case is designed into 2 pieces: inner lining + outer shell. What I did instead: 1. Make sure the outer shell is already attached to inner lining (without the phone). 2. Make sure both sides are properly flushed; especially that pesky corner. 3. At an angle, insert the S22 with the right side going in first (the side with the buttons) while keeping an eye on the upper corner, making sure it doesn't pop out of place. 4. Push/Force in the rest of the phone into the case. Using this method, this kept the problematic corner flushed. It hasn't pop out of place since. **Q: Will this case have the phone overheat? I'm having a problem with that with my current case.** A: I think by nature, all cases cause some overheating. This does as well for me. **Q: Has anyone had problems with the kick stand, mine won't stay in the case after the first time I opened it, it just won't stay in the case** A: I bought multiple ones for other phones and the stand stays in just fine. The case is a little thick and prevents some charging cables from making full contact, but these are compromises I am willing to make for such a rugged case. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great case *by M***D on December 16, 2025* super clutch kickstand, durable, had it for years ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classy, light, button-effective, and protective *by E***R on February 15, 2026* This is an attractive, classy, light-yet-protective, and long-lasting case. I don't use the (metal, is it?) kickstand often, but it has proved very handy, sturdy, and reliable, a number of times; I like the look of it too. It is not especially grippy, like my S10e's Speck ones are, but it has never felt a bit slippery and the buttons work easily and reliably, which is always an essential design factor for me. It is indeed a very tight-fitting case, so you do have be relatively strong, but mostly just patient and careful, to install and remove it. It is definitely worth it and I'd want a replacement if anything happened to this one.
