It says its vegan, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been tested on animals.** A: It is illegal in the UK to sell any cosmetic products if it (or any of it's ingredients) have been tested on animals. This has been the law in the UK since 1998 **Q: Is this good for the lower half?** A: As far as I aware it is only a facial product. My son has only used it to calm razor burn on his neck.
