Review: Rinse the filters IMMEDIATELY! - Prefilters work great for both filtering harvesting debris and removing sugar sand from the first boil. You need to take care to rinse them thoroughly right after use. Do not allow the mineral deposits to stay inside the filter as it will make them impossible to clean. Did not use the finishing the filter because I am collecting very small batches of sap and am using a smaller filtering system.
