Also, the AC adapter to charge the phone was a European style and would not fit in a US plug. So I take it my A03 Core was meant for the African market. However, it works just fine with T-Mobile. MetroPCS also would accept it according to their IMEI page. ATT didn't recognize the phones IMEI nor would Boost Mobile accept it's IMEI number. **Q: Will this work with metro pcs and cricket?** A: The A03 is a GSM phone and will only work with GSM cell providers like T-Mobile and ATT, who have always been GSM providers. Cricket and MetroPCS were once CDMA cell phone providers and that may be the problem. Lots of their customers still have the old CDMA phones. For my A03 Core, Metro by T-Mobile accepted my phone readily but Cricket would not accept it. Your A03 is a 100% GSM phone. You need to find a provider who is offering GSM service, GSM Sim Cards, etc. in your area in order to get service. For example, Boost Mobile is owned by GSM provider T-Mobile but they still are heavily CDMA from their past which used CDMA towers owned by Sprint. Boost refused my A03 phone but in parts of the country, it would have been accepted.
