(12"x7"x9")** A: I am assuming it's about 1 gallon. It's a very good enclosure. I keep a 2" juvenile B. emila in it. It's easy to keep clean, doesn't scratch like acrylic since it's PVC. It stacks well. I plan to purchase a few more of the larger sizes. **Q: Is it difficult to open the safety lock?** A: I never used that. The top itself is quite secure when closed **Q: Is this mesh or punched steel?** A: Steel mesh. Just watch out for the water bottle hole in the top if you have anything small My jumping spider escaped **Q: Do they stack if yo buy multiples?** A: Yes but then you would lose the air from the top and would only have the air from the sides.
