I had an old bookshelf stereo system that was in a state of decline. The CD player skipped, I didn't use the dual tape deck or the radio anymore. The speakers were still good. Rather than pay a fortune for a new home sound system, I decided to trash the multiplex unit and keep the speakers. The look and size of this unit are perfect. I installed it with double sided tape on the back of one of the speakers connected the speaker wires plugged it in and turned it on. Functions well, Bluetooth connectivity is fast and easy. The power is perfect. The compatibility is great with my various sources. The quality of the sound is hands down better than when connected to the old stereo due to the Bluetooth technology. Very satisfied with this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent little amp in a small unassuming package. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 27, 2020* Was able to test with a set of cheaper portable speakers - similar to the old cloth-covered, 3-way ones you used to find in vans. Sound is clean and decent - probably as good as one could expect from those speakers. Volume isn't overpowering but has plenty of output for sitting out back around a campfire or throwing shoes. BT connectivity was smooth and quick. One drawback - the adapter cable they provide for USB connection is terminated in USB Male, making it useless for plugging in a thumb drive. I ordered a USB F-F adapter but not sure why they bothered to send something that couldn't be used out-of-box. If you plan to use this as a USB input, either make sure your source device has a USB female port or buy the adapter along with it. Overall, a good value with or without the cable. As for BT range, I got out close to 100' line-of-sight before I started losing connectivity.
