I understood it did not shoot the plastic shells out BUT I was under the impression you would be able to load the plastic shell, rack the gun and the shells would expel from the side. They do not, they get stuck. Lights and sounds are what you would expect. Size was comporable to a regular shotgun. I was going to use it for a costume to removed the battery compartment since the sound was so quiet and unrealisting before I realized it was damaged. I mean, this thing is REALLY low quality. I guess what you get is what you have paid for.
