It’s easy to use and adheres extremely well to properly prepared aluminum hulls and pontoons to create a waterproof tie-coat barrier that offers exceptional protection against corrosion. This effective high-build formula fills small surface imperfections and provides excellent adhesion so paint won’t peel and will last longer. In addition, you can apply it to all underwater metals for superior corrosion protection.Proper preparation is the key to success when priming or painting aluminum surfaces. We strongly recommend the use of our TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Etch Wash (sold separately) to clean, condition, and prepare the aluminum surface so it has enough tooth for the barrier coat primer to adhere to strongly and effectively.
