The downside is the app. It works, sure, but it's quirky and setting it up is also quirky. Let alone that there are two versions of the app to make it more confusing. There is also no way that I am aware of to have my spouse and I both connected to the device. So for now my wife has control of it and that is fine but its kinda silly that its either or. The machine works great and I like the ability to check in on the cat though the camera. But the app and annoying push to get a subscription are super lame.
