I've read some of the negative reviews and it seems these days the world feels it has the latitude to expect perfection in everything...except themselves. If you don't over load these skewers, they perform flawlessly. I use them in my smoker and the family loves the end result. Beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops...any kind of veggie or fruit combo you can imagine...they all turn out tasty and the ability to flip all of the skewers at the same time makes basting a very simple act.
