They work well, they're strongly magnetic, they're uniform in size which makes them good for this kind of project (Where they have needed to fit into 3D printed cavities to be held in place). I did accidentally drop them. Magnets are so nice to play with and I was "clicking" then together with one hand and I dropped them, all together, and the impact on a tile floor shattered one of them.
