It looks like these are 12 packages of 2 oz liquid. You would not need to refill anything. I did learn to keep the paper / cardboard tabs to put the liquid on in case you need it again. The prouduct worked very well but ants came back in a different location so I needed the tabs to put the liquid on. You can really put this liquid on anything. Hope this helps . Very good prouduct . **Q: My ants roam most on stovetop (& trash-bin/counter near stove) but entry-point is at other end of counter (at porch door) so where do i put terro?** A: First of all, be sure you discover as much as you can about the FULL PATH from ENTRY POINT all the way to the TARGET. Then... you can actually drop a couple FEEDING STATIONS (on a 4x4 post-it note, for instance) anywhere along the PATH. Best if you can keep it out of the way... like NEXT TO the WALL so no human or animal steps in it. Realize that it will probably take a few hours until you see a lot of ants gathering on the post-it note. PS: They're probably on the stove top wandering around for new food resources to find. Two longer-term things that will help, once you get this batch under control: - Wash out cans, bottles, etc before you put them in the trash/recycle bin.
