I did so in vain, and was very pleased to not have been able to wipe off the stencil after allowing it a good 30 seconds to dry. It didn't even smudge. It wasn't for another THREE (3) hours until it showed signs of fading after the kids came back home. My stencil still is on, 4 hours later. Even after lightly wiping it a few times, it still has not fully came off. VERY good solution, I'm buying another bottle right now to keep for the future and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Advanced and beginner tattoo artists alike.
