I used my handheld cleaner to suction up the excess product after sitting for a few hours then put a fan on it to dry. And the smell is completely gone. The product itself has a slight citrus scent to it but I’ll take that over the smell of cat urine any day! I have since reorganized my room and moved his litter box and food bowl into my bedroom to avoid any more middle of the night surprises. I got the 1 gallon container and thought it was on the high side price wise but after seeing the results I feel it’s worth it. It’s less expensive than a brand new mattress.

**Q: I know this is primarily for urine, but would it also work on cat vomit and hairballs?**
A: Yes it will work but the main reason this is special for cat urine is because natures miracle is an enzyme cleaner to remove the smell of the urine as cats will continue to pee and poo in the same spot if they can still smell it. You have no risk of that with vomit and hairballs so any normal flooring cleaner would ln d work. I've owned cats for over 25 years and none of them ever made a point to vomit in the same spot more than once. I did learn to get quick with a paper plate or something going in the trash to run and stick in front of them to puke onto though so it can then just be thrown away.

**Q: will this work on old, dried cat pee who sprayed the chair and rug ?**
A: I have used it on old pee on curtains and walls and wood.

**Q: Does this work with dog urine?**
A: I’m not sure about dog urine but it does a decent job on cat urine which I believe is stronger smelling. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

**Q: Does this product also stop cats from peeing in the same spot you used it to clean previous urine?**

This really does work. I sprayed it in areas of my bedroom on the carpet that my cat has decided to pee. I constantly clean it up and also use my carpet cleaner on it. Sometimes it just still smells like it lingers. I sprayed this all along the baseboard on the carpet and let it completely dry. I have no smell of urine in the bedroom at all.
