## Description

Schaeffer’s Eco 5000 Engine Oil 15W-40 is a para-synthetic diesel oil formulated with highly re-refined Group II base oils, friction modifiers and anti-wear additives that exceed the performance requirements of today’s complex diesel engines. This unique blend creates a premium, longer lasting oil that has less impact on the environment. Eco 5000 significantly reduces friction and provides superior protection against damaging metal-to-metal contact. Eco 5000 is recommended for use in all types of diesel engines operating on both less than 500 ppm and ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel. It exceeds the current requirements for API CJ-4 and is particularly suitable for use in low emission compliant engines that utilize heavy EGR and exhaust after-treatment devices such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR).
