I'm sure you can get permanent eye damage if you stare at them too long. If you play in a dark stage/venue, it's the only thing you (and your audience) will see. The new aluminum box with blue LEDs has much lower noise than the black box with red LEDs. The blue LEDs are also much brighter than the red ones. Our country only use 220volts ac.** A: As long as your power supply provides 9v, tip negative, 100mA current minimum power, you'll be fine. When I was originally using a Fender Blues Junior the EQ worked great.
