Luckily we have picture rails so I placed my order. They are actually quite a bit better than I expected!Pros:-Because they are made symmetrically either end can go on the picture rail (up or down). That's actually nice so that as it wears you can flip it and the padding on the "arm" will look brand new.-They are not permanently affixed so you can move them as needed.-They seem to be made of quality materials, not flimsy at all.-The guitars do not touch the wall when hung. This is great so you don't have to worry about dings, nicks or scuff marks on the wall.-The "arms" are adjustable to hold thick or thin necked guitars.-Shipping was fast!-Having the guitars on the wall instead of the floor looks great!Cons:-I placed an order for 5. However at some point in the process my order was changed from 5 to 4. A ticket was opened but I've never heard back as to why the order was changed. Seller was "Amazon Global Store UK".I did add a piece of felt to the side of the hanger that lays flat against the wall in order to eliminate the possibility of wear marks, dings, scuffs or scratches when the guitar is taken on and off the rack. So far it has worked out well.One reviewer mentioned that it moves when you take the guitar off of the rack. That may be true but it isn't much and we've not had an incident of it coming completely off and falling to the floor. My son does "twist" the guitar when he lifts which makes it slide out easier.Overall this is a great product! They are the best (only?) solution for hanging guitars if you don't want to or can't drill or screw into the walls. It holds my narrow head Telecaster on a picture rail with no problems. Only things I don't love is that when you lift up to remove the guitar, there is nothing securing the hanger and it dances around on the rail. Not enough to come off the wall (yet). I could probably fix this by putting some light adhesive on the rail where the hanger sits, but it isn't that big of a deal.Second, this is a little bit too pricey for what you get. The price should be closer to $10 in my opinion based on the materials used. But since I haven't found anything cheaper anywhere else, I'll be getting more of these.EDIT: like a ghost haunting the place that I last knew love, I return again and again to this page in the hope that more will be available. They never are. I see a foolish past me only gave 4 stars to this product for some reason and I remedy it. Stay perfect, FretFunk picture rail hanger. We have an old house with plaster walls and picture rails, so this saved our walls and cleared up a bunch of floor space by putting guitars on the wall. Worth the money to just have these easy on and off hangers instead of having to make my own. Added bonus is that the guitars are now part of the wall art in the room and I can have all of my beautiful instruments out to enjoy - - no more hidden treasures.
