Mine has held up well for the past season without any hint of letting go. **Q: How thick is it in inches** A: The actual metal is very thin probably less than 1/16 of an inch thick that's all you need you don't need anything heavy just a light gauge to protect from case damage. You cant beat the protection for the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great…until they fell off *by N***Y on August 14, 2023* Fit was perfect and looked great once mounted using Liquid Nails silicone adhesive (had to guess because no recommendation came with purchase) but unfortunately once they got heated up and rattled over 20 miles of dirt road they apparently just fell off somewhere and lost forever.
