Review: Cheap and Does the Job - I think this type of scraper is typically used to remove glasstop stove spills. My application, however is significantly different. I use it to remove 3D printed objects from the printer I got my first 3D printer several weeks ago. It works by melting ABS plastic which looks like string trimmer string. It layers the melted plastic on a glass platform to form an object. This works well but removing the printed object from the glass platform proved to be a challenge. The object needs to "stick" to the platform during printing or it will not form correctly. A worthless plastic "scraper" was provided but it didn't work. I then tried a putty knife with a metal blade, but it didn't work either. Using a single edge razor blade, I was able to get its thin blade under a corner or two and the object would "pop" off. The problem with this technique is that it's hard to put pressure on the blade and steer it at the same time. So, this scraper was the solution. It's easy to load and I don't bother to reverse the blade when I'm done.
