(Can't say whether HumanCentric will honor your warranty, but there's not much that could go wrong with this thing.) You'll find a small circular magnet. It's polarized, and the side that activates the EQ has an 'N' on it. Pry it out while poking the foam from the other side, and flip it over to deactivate the EQ.
