Box Contains Each order comes with 1 x Green Velvet Lawn Seed The Shady One 20kg Review: Lovely grass - Really pleased with it. Signs of growth after a week and around 2 inches in nearly 3 weeks (as photo) but still early days, it still needs time to thicken. Like everything, it takes a lot of preparation, maintenance, time and patience. I saw a few bad reviews and wondered if people had just sprinkled this on the surface and hoped for the best. Review: Fine-blade top premium quality grass. - Beautiful and fine deep green luxury grass seed. Gives a dense lawn If you want a deep green luxury lawn, this is great. Tolerates dappled shady areas well in my experience. Sprouts quickly and reliably if sown/spread with care and watered attentively whilst establishing. Despite last year's 2022 heatwave/drought/hosepipe ban, this grass has come back and survived fully intact. Best mix I have found for a premium/luxury lawn. Interesting to peruse the Barenbrug website who are grass specialists. ## Features - A high quality lawn seed mixtures that is specifically formulated to create an excellent lawn under shady places - Ideal for areas of the garden under full or partial shade - Designed to perform under tree canopies.Sowing rate -25-35g/m2 - Improved tolerance to common lawn diseases - Good tolerance to drought ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00LFLT89W | | Best Sellers Rank | 41,880 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 146 in Grass Seeds | | Brand | Green Velvet | | Brand Name | Green Velvet | | Colour | The Shady One | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 254 Reviews | | Expected Planting Period | Year Round | | Expected blooming period | all | | Item Weight | 44.09 Pounds | | Item weight | 44.09 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Barenbrug | | Manufacturer Part Number | Not Applicable | | Material Features | Natural | | Material feature | Natural | | Other Special Features of the Product | Natural | | Plant or Animal Product Type | césped | | Special feature | Natural | | Style Name | Green Velvet Lawn Seed | | Sunlight Exposure | Partial Shade | | expected blooming period | all | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Green Velvet - **Colour:** The Shady One - **Expected blooming period:** all - **Expected planting period:** Year Round - **Item weight:** 20 kg - **Material feature:** Natural - **Special feature:** Natural - **Style:** Green Velvet Lawn Seed - **Sunlight exposure:** Partial Shade ## Images ![Green Velvet 20Kg Lawn Seed The Shady One - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812Q5KLw6jL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely grass *by M***. on 26 April 2026* Really pleased with it.
