Turning off the firewall on the device you are setting up with helps avoid connectivity issues. Use separate SSID to differentiate between the existing router and the repeater. Netflix which seems to always buffer on the bedroom TV no longer buffers. Works very well even after I had closed every door between my bedroom which is on the third level of my house and the router location in the basement, 5 doors in all. I didn't expect the device to work this well based on the reviews but figured it is cheap and I get to return it for free if it doesn't work.
