There are so many one-star reviews, I originally felt like it was a bad idea. But I just moved into a dorm and I wanted a phone case that could hold at least my student ID, but ideally my key as well. When I saw that this case could, I was overjoyed. I admit, getting used to the size of my phone in this case took time. But the convenience was well worth it.PROS:-fits my ID and key, plus a hair tie if I want-comes with a super convenient wristlet attachment (which I don't use, but I may at some point)-feels sturdy, made of thick plastic-fits the phone well-has a lip that sticks out above the screen (so if I drop it, my screen has a smaller chance of cracking)CONS:-can be a bit hard to open-plastic hinges, which may break if dropped repeatedly-makes a huge phone even biggerAddressing negative reviews:I don't know what kind of defective case some people got, but I'm easily able to charge my phone--the samsung charger that originally came with my phone fits perfectly. I am also easily able to change the volume and access the power button. My samsung (Galaxy S4) fit perfectly into the case. The bottom conveniently snaps off to let the phone in, then snaps back to fully encase the phone. The flash and camera are left open, which is great. The back part is rather difficult to open, I often use my thumb nail to open it. It took getting used to, I must say, to be able to open it regularly. That said, it has the ability to fit lots of stuff: Keys, money, cards, extra shoe string, hair ties, possibly even a small pocket knife if you see fit. The color isn't what I had expected. I ordered the peacock and it's lacking the green. The color is more of a "meh dark blue" or "off by a bit lightish navy". Not going to lie, it's bulky as hell so if you have tiny lady pockets i wouldn't recommend buying it. It's a bit hard to open, but just use your thumb and it opens well. It comes with a small mirror on the inside and the opened back could double as a stand if needed. The only reason I have one is so I can carry all my stuff around in case I need it. With this I can keep my ID, credit card, AAA card, and Health Insurance Card and not have to lug a purse around everytime I go to the grocery store or to pick my child up from school. Get pulled over? Stop to buy gas? Flat tire? Fine, no problem, it's all tucked into my phone case.
