Review: Long underwear old school style. - These are classic, old school, long underwear shirts. Which means they're going to fit tightly in your normal size - a "bit" like a compression shirt. So which size you choose will depend greatly on your physique. I'm 5'8 and 153 lbs with an athletic build. The medium fits snugly around in the body and chest and a little looser in the arms. I kind of like the tightness. After all, it's meant to go underneath other clothing. However, if you're a little larger, you may want to size up - it depends on your preference and expectation. Are they scratchy? I mean, they're not "soft"... but that doesn't bother me. However, I could see how someone might feel they're a bit abrasive though. That's kind of what I would expect in these type of traditional long john shirts. And they usually get softer over time but I can't say for certain with this brand as I haven't had it long enough. It's crazy that the white ones are half the price of the color ones, but even those are still quite inexpensive.

**Q: Where are these made?**
A: It says Mexico on the back. It is hard to read after washing a number of times. But, I will say they are well made and they keep me pretty warm. This is a great value for the money.

**Q: How long and how big around is the 6x?**
A: Probably too small!!! Mine was 2 sizes to small. I had to give it away. It is thin as well. Don’t buy clothing from Amazon if it is not a known U.S. brand.

**Q: Are the cuffs somewhat tight? Looking for a shirt where tou can roll up the sleeve amd the cuffs wont get blown out immediately**
A: The cuff's are about 2 to 3" crew knit and tight to my 7 1/2" wrists. Designed to be left down to be able to wear long sleeve shirt over. Or pulled, not rolled, up to just below the elbow where they firmly stay and worn without a shirt over.

**Q: I have old indera purchased at k-mart..they have a long tail so it does not come out of your pants when you bend over.. do they still make ? if not. w**
A: I think they are some of the best, and they stay in the pants.

These are classic, old school, long underwear shirts. Which means they're going to fit tightly in your normal size - a "bit" like a compression shirt. That's kind of what I would expect in these type of traditional long john shirts. And they usually get softer over time but I can't say for certain with this brand as I haven't had it long enough. It's crazy that the white ones are half the price of the color ones, but even those are still quite inexpensive.

Definitely not as thick as a traditional thermal: can easily see through two layers of fabric. If ok with a thin thermal works great. As others noted - the size is smaller than tagged. If you normally wear a M (even an M in the same brand thermals that are heavier), size up. I wish I did. Even just washing in cold and hang drying it is comically small but it means my kids have a thermal now. Four stars.
