Simple to set up on my Olympus OM-1 (mk 1). Worked first time - when I remembered to check that both transmitter and receiver were switched to “On”! Single shot and burst mode work well. The connecting cable fits my OM-1 but Canon users may need one with a Canon camera end. Not familiar with Nikon so can’t comment. Only used for short range practice in good weather but see no reason why it shouldn’t work equally well in the field.
