Review: Great Results! - Wanted a pickguard for this guitar but didn't want to have one custom made. Came across this and thought I'd give it a try. Item was listed for acoustic guitars but I came across reviews and pictures of using it on electric guitars. I had already made my template out of paper. I just used scissors to cut it out and used sandpaper around the edges for the finishing touch. I had read reviews so knew I could sand and these sheets were thicker than regular colors even though still thin. Just be aware if you use these to make your template outline on the color side of the paper! Don't use the back 3M side or your pickguard will not work, it will fit but on the OPPOSITE side you need. Also, it sticks well so make sure your placement is spot on the first time. Just take your time to do it right. Overall very pleased, relatively easy to do and saved myself some money and time.
Review: Good Quality, But Take Your Time Cutting - “The material looks nice and feels solid, but cutting it evenly took patience. A sharp utility knife worked better than scissors, and I had to test-fit a few times before sticking it down. Once applied, it held fine, but it’s not exactly a quick DIY unless you’re careful. Think of it like restringing — not hard, but worth taking your time.”

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would definitely buy again!

Easy to install and use! I put on a guitar that I received as a wedding gift from my wife that she wrote on, so I placed over her handwriting to seal it and can see that it’s not going anywhere now! High quality, low cost solution of protecting a guitar that you want to have shine for the foreseeable future without changing the appearance. Best application would be on flat surfaces guitars—no arch tops.
