They look and work so well that you could never tell it was anything other than the factory stocked parts. **Q: Doea it fit fluval 406 ?** A: Yes it will work. Although the look is slightly different than the original for the 306 the connection is the same over all models from the 304-404 on to the 305-405 to the 306-406 and the 307-407 interchangeable. **Q: Does it fit fluval 404 ?** A: well it fits the 307/407 so I would think it would work on the older 404, however just pull up the replacement kit for the 404 and make sure it is the same number.
