I wear a size 8 US and I bought a size 8. So glad I did. The size 8 fit me perfectly, with just enough room for thick socks, but not too loose when I wear thin socks. I've got wide feet, and was worried about the toe box, but these weren't uncomfortable at all. They took a little time to break in, but immediately became my everyday shoe. The teak color was much less red than the pictures show, and a very nice, subtle, beautiful color. Steal toe has a rating of ATSM F2413-18 F/I/C EH.
