Review: TINY POWERHOUSE OF HEALING RELIEF!! - AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE!! I've wanted a portable TENS unit for a long time but was never able to fit it into my budget. Not only is the iReliev TENS unit affordable, but it's a tiny powerhouse of healing!! I lifted a heavy box, pulled my back, and wound up with excruciating sciatic nerve pain that ran down from my lower lumbar area, through the hip, down through the outside of my thigh, and through the knee. I went to the emergency room, but all they could do was offer pain killers and a muscle relaxer that not only didn't help the pain, but I hated feeling groggy. I went online and found this unit, read the reviews, ordered it, and it arrived two days later, as promised. Setting it up to use was very simple, and the controls were very intuitive and user friendly. Within 15 minutes of opening the box, I was giving myself a treatment. Amazingly, after my first 20 minute treatment I had COMPLETE RELIEF for the first time in days!! I've used the unit twice every day since then, and can't say enough good things about it. The unit is small, easy to use, and quickly relieves muscle tightness. I strained a muscle causing my a pinching of my sciatic nerve. I tried many efforts to loosen the muscle and was literally unable to walk for about two weeks when I remembered having TENS treatments when I have ripped my hamstring years ago. I went on line, found the unit and it was amazing how quickly I got results. It will still take a couple of weeks to ensure it doesn't return. The unit is very high quality and American made. It's worth every penny spent at around $50.

**Q: What's the difference between the 7070 and the 7575?**
A: 7575 includes an additional set of (4) 2" x 2" pads and (2) 3.5" x 5". Best value.

**Q: Is this safe for use on the tmj (jaw joint) and jaw muscles?**
A: need unit with with microcurrent  so it will be safe even i n the head. Acupuncture will work also.

**Q: Can you use the nodes without the electrode gel? or is the gel required?**
A: You can use the nodes without electro Gel. Gel is not required.

**Q: I was about to purchase this but there seems to be a lot of negative comments about the life of the pads or shortness of life. Any suggestions?**
A: I have used the large pads at least 100 times since receiving the iReliev unit.  First, use the pads on areas that are clean and free of any type of skin lotion.  Yes, after the first 20 times, the pads lost their stickiness, but I took a clean, kitchen, non-abrasive scubby pad, dipped a corner in rubbing alcohol, cleaned off the surface of both pads, and let them dry before putting them back on the plastic keeper sheet.  After this trick, they worked like new again!  One needs to understand that our skin cells die and replenish daily, so it makes sense that dead skin cells (that we can't see) will adhere to the pads, and after repeated use, will build up.  I've used my alcohol and scrubby pad trick several times and the pads have stayed as good as new.  Don't hesitate to purchase this product!  The relief it brings is worth every penny!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite better than I'd expected.

I honestly didn't expect this to work as well as it has. I've been seeing a PT for a back injury, and they'd been using an EMS device there. I'd wanted the ability to do the same at home, so after a bit of research, I settled upon this one. In terms of strength, it definitely matches the one at the PT, and I've never tried turning it up to full strength. Placing the pads is easy, and I've found several combinations of pad locations which are extremely therapeutic for me. I'm a little concerned about stickiness of the pads, as I really hate the idea of just dumping them and buying new ones every few weeks (I use this often.) I'm going to be looking into ways to extend their life or re-coat them, we'll see. Aside from that, the only thing I wish were different were the built-in stimulation patterns. At the PT, the device they have has a pattern which is extremely varying, and I find it the most effective of any I've tried. The built-in ones in this device are good, but not quite as good as that. Still, that's an industrial-capacity device, and this is a home portable one. But I can still dream.
