I have also used it to cut a few limbs that were larger than the blade. It handled everything admirably.This is so much safer for limbing a downed tree than using a regular chain saw, even a small one.The orange plastic blade tightening knob has a threaded brass insert for durability. You still need to carry the provided screwdriver to tension the blade.4 Spare chains were only $15.You can store the assembled chainsaw in the provided tote if you cut a notch out of the lower tray to accommodate the blade sticking out.
