However, each time I buy a new package in the store, and put in the new code to extend the subscription, they always give me ONE YEAR of coverage exactly. This is done IN SPITE OF the fact that I have a month or two remaining on my subscription.This can be corrected by contacting them, which takes time and should not be required. They should AUTOMATICALLY extend the subscription by ADDING ONE YEAR to your current subscription, NOT just setting the new subscription at one year.This almost seems like a scam to me. Symantec should rise above this and fix it so it works right, without having to call them. Meanwhile, if you buy this product, note the number of days left on your subscription BEFORE installing it. Then contact symantec (norton) and insist on them giving back that number of days.Otherwise, I really like the product. I feel very comfortable with it, and they don't make a lot of changes to the user interface, so it's not a big learning curve going from last year's version to this year's. (Microsoft, you might want to pay attention here).Just remember: never install more than one antivirus product, or they will fight each other to the death! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Because I Don't Want To Think About It *by ☮***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 15, 2014* I was tired of trying different products that did different things and often competed with each other when I asked my sis-in-law what products she recommended to protect her computers, manage backups and secure her identity. She has worked with computers for decades and proudly holds the title of Family Geek to this day. She gifted me with my first license for Norton 360 about 2008 and I have resubscribed ever since.The most important stuff that Norton 360 does is rarely noticeable. Every once in awhile, while surfing, I will get a heads up about a website known for malicious activity or told that a file I tried to download is corrupt. N360 runs regular scans to check for viruses and infections or to let me know when it is time to take some additional action to tune up for performance. My favorite and most used feature is the Identity Safe, which does exactly what Norton says: "remembers, secures, and automatically enters your usernames and passwords for you, so they can't be lost or stolen."One trick that I learned (that at least one other person here has shared) is do not set up your account to automatically renew. I have a Google alert set up to let me know when Amazon and other retailers have it on sale. I have easily saved as much as 75% compared to what Norton would have charged me to auto-renew. You can even buy a couple at a time because the key codes stack.After years of concerns about our home PCs getting hacked, infected or whatever, it has been great to really not think of it much at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, minor issues to consider. *by P***3 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 1, 2014* I have used Norton 360 for years . This year thought I would add it to I Pad and I Phone as well as my Windows PC's so I upgraded to the Multi Device unit. Alas, I found two things. First having bought from Amazon and installed they shorted me the rest of my old subscription (some 19 days). However I called and they added those back saying in future if I change from one product to another to call them first and they will see to the adjustment. Or I can wait until last day or expiration and do it then. As for IOS products like I Phone and I Pad they apparently have their own security built in so this is not needed. The features Norton adds were not very useful for me. Do not have android device but if I did apparently this is useful on those devices. As for Kindle this does not work with that. I do not know if Kindle like Apple has built in protection, hope so.
