Most Dot 5 is purple but i prefer clear.** A: Its Purple **Q: what color is the fluid?** A: I haven't bought this brand, but ALL DOT 5 fluid is "supposed" to be PURPLE when new. It will, however, fade to a yellowish straw color over time. **Q: Where is it made?** A: I just checked. Made here in the U.S.A. **Q: would this work in a jr dragster and what color is it?** A: It would in any application where a silicon based brake fluid is needed. I used in in my '03 Harley Davidson Road King. Not sure about your specific ride (jr dragster).
