I originally bought a KEY-BAK "heavy duty" retractor and it broke in literally two uses. The carabiner clip broke off. This one is FAR better designed with the velcro strap. The quick-release design of the gear holder clip is innovative and strong. There is no wiggling or rattling as all parts fit together solidly.I went with the lower priced, KEY-BAK first and was sorry I did. Don't make the same mistake. The quality comparison isn't even in the same ballpark and is well worth the additional few dollars.
