## Overview

Race Ramps Supercar FlatStopper is a premium tire flat-spot prevention solution crafted from 100% solid high-density foam. Designed to support tires up to 14 inches wide and withstand up to 6,000 lbs, it evenly disperses vehicle weight while preventing tire deformation and thermal damage. Its slip-resistant coating protects both tires and garage floors, making it the go-to choice for supercar owners and performance enthusiasts aiming to extend tire life and maintain peak condition during long-term storage.

## Description

Tire manufacturers do not warranty their tires against flat spotting and FlatStoppers have consistently been the go-to product to save dollars by saving the tires. The special concave design of the FlatStoppers effectively cradles the tire while the durable exterior coating prevents scooting on even the smoothest of floors including epoxy and plastic modular flooring. Additionally, the FlatStopper will not leave marks on floors. Through its composition, Race Ramps' FlatStoppers provide the highest quality and performance of any flat spot prevention product in the market today. The Supercar FlatStopper accommodates tires up to 14-inches wide, which has become more of today's standard in new factory performance vehicles. The Supercar FlatStopper measures 16"W x 28"L and is an addition to Race Ramps' successful line of FlatStoppers which includes the standard FlatStoppers (for tires up to 12-inches wide) and the 10-inch FlatStoppers (for tires up to 8-inches wide). Save dollars by saving your tires.

Review: Seem great so far, figured out the trick - So far so good. I figured out the trick!I have a 2025 911 Turbo S. Rims are 20 front 21 back. If you have staggered tires you can't just jam them up to the back of the tire. I have an old metal level. Its about 1.25 inches wide. For the back tires I used that as a spacer to line up the back ones, then slid it out. All 4 tires ended up in the groove perfectly on the first try
Review: If you invest in quality tires, invest in their longevity. - Perfect for long term storage. I put my car up on these if I won't be driving for 30 days or more. If you are deciding between two sizes, get the larger of the two. The supercar one really is for ultra-wide tires... these are great for a 2006 BMW M3. The next size down (14") is good for most vehicles... I have them on a 2007 BMW X5 SUV with fairly large tires. Race Ramps RR-FS Flatstopper (Pack of 4) The 10" ones really shouldn't be used for full-size cars... its for ATVs etc. For oil changes and other self-maintenance, I use these ramps (didn't but them on desertcart, but they are great). ## Questions & Answers

**Q: can you back up into these? i back back my car into my garage.**
A: I can't see why not. The ramps don't know which way the vehicle is oriented as the tires roll up onto the ramps. The trick with a garage is having the vehicle end up where you want it in the garage, AFTER it's situated on the ramps. I'm going to write the description below as if you're driving into the garage nose first - you'll want to reverse front and rear as necessary below if you intend to back in.Note that you do NOT place all four ramps in their final location before you begin to drive into the garage, as this would mean the front tires would have to go up, over and off the rear ramps before they reach and begin to go up on the front ramps. What you need to do with your new ramps is to first measure the horizontal distance between the lip (lowest edge) of the ramps, and the center of the concave portion of the ramps (where the tire will end up). Let's say for discussion purposes that this distance is 20". You drive the vehicle into the garage with the desired left-right orientation, to a point approximately 20" BEHIND where you want it to end up when it's situated on the ramps, and initially stop there. Then you place all four ramps on the floor, centering them (left-to-right) on each of the tires, pushing the lower lip of each ramp just touching/pinched underneath) the front edge of each tire (at the front of the patch where the tire contacts the floor). This means as soon as the car begins to move forward, all four tires will begin going up onto their respective ramps at the same time. Though the manufacturer says it doesn't matter, I recommend having both the floor underneath the ramps and the top and bottom surface of the ramps themselves be as clean and free of dust, dirt, liquid or anything else that would cause it to slip relative to the tire as the latter goes up on it. You then slowly drive the car forward, and it will roll up on the ramps, and at some point all four tires will drop into the concave depression of the ramps at about the same time. Do this VERY slowly, as it will be a rather substantial jolt as the tires simultaneously drop into the depression on the ramps (depending on your suspension, it will feel like you drove off a curb). Get out of the vehicle, and inspect how each tire is seated in each ramp, left/right and front/rear, to make sure nothing moved while you were driving the vehicle up on them. Also note that when you drive (forward or backward) OFF the ramps, you have to follow the reverse process to that outlined above. As soon as you are off the ramps (immediately after the front and rear tires contact the garage floor), get out and move at least the two ramps that are still under the vehicle, out of the way. Otherwise you'll end up driving over them in the wrong direction, which will not be enjoyable for either the ramps, the vehicle, you, and/or your underwear. The following section is intended for engineers and others like myself who understand that anal-retentive and obsessive-compulsive are both necessarily spelled with a hyphen).if the aspect ratio (the ratio of a tire’s section height to its section width when the tire is: inflated to maximum air pressure) of the front and rear tires is not the same, the circumference of the front and rear tires may be slightly different. On rear-wheel drive vehicles, for example, It can mean that (in this example) the circumference of the rear tires is slightly larger than that of the front tires. If you initially position the front lip of the ramps the same way under the front and rear tires as outlined above, you may find that the front tires end up not exactly centered on the front ramps, You'll be able to feel this more than see it, by sliding something like a paper envelope underneath each tire from each (front/rear) direction, after each tire is seated in the ramp depression). In my case this resulted with the front tires being slightly less than an inch behind the physical center of the ramp depression, while the rear tires were exactly centered in the ramp depressions. If this turns out to the case for you, and you're concerned about it, initially place the front tire ramps, very slightly (probably less than an inch) forward of where you put them for the rear tires (this means the rear tires will contact and begin climbing their ramps VERY slightly before the front tires contact and begin climbing theirs). If you are using the ramps for a vehicle like a hot rod, where the rear tires are often substantially taller and wider than the front tires, this distance will be somewhat larger and may be significant. If you're mathematically inclined, you can calculate this distance/difference, but if you're not, you'll probably find that trial-and-error is easier. Unless your front and rear tires are substantially different in circumference, you probably won't find the difference to be significant enough to be concerned with. In any event, don't let it affect your decision to get these ramps, it's really no t that big a deal - you'll see how to tune the correct position for the ramps the first or second time you use them.Good Luck !!

**Q: If the tires drop into place slightly off angle will this ruin the tire or will the material form to hug the tires??**
A: The product does not form to the tire. Rather tire lies within the curvature and keeps the tire from getting flat spots. Tires placed straight in groves will hold their forms.

**Q: Are 16" (rr-fs-16-sc) available in red color? if so, what designation do i use to order them?**
A: We do not have the RR-FS-16-SC available in the color red anymore. We have stopped spraying all products in the color red as of January of this year.

**Q: What size needed on tire size 255/35/18**
A: The wheel width determines the size needed. It’s a little difficult to drive up 4 narrow ramps So I suggest the 16” ramp. You don’t have to be precise . You will have some room on either side of the tire to cradle the tire.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light weight, easy to use, but a little costly.

Easy to roll your car onto it despite what others say. Only concern is getting the tires to drop exactly to fit the curvature of the ramp. If you are off a couple of degrees I am worried it will damage tires. First winter for me storing 2015 Z06. Will update if it is a negative result.
