The wire is very long and sturdy. I use it for the purpose of connecting my home theater projector to my reciever which are about 20 feet away from each other.I've had my fair share of bad luck with cheap cables breaking, but I feel this cable will last just based on the look and feel of the cable in my hands. The cable is thick and insulated to a certain degree that it would not appear to be cut by any accidental means in my opinion.All in all, I would purchase more cables of this quality for the same price anytime I need to replace my HDMI cables in my home.
