I'm still learning the right way to use it but I wanted to share my initial impressions since there's only one other review written on this product. First off, it absolutely does leave a white "imprint" on black trim despite the claims by the company and the other reviewer to the contrary. I learned about the white residue the hard way on the first two cars because I was very liberal with my cleanser application only to have to go back and spend extra time dealing with the white residue problem. I avoided all black trim with the second two cars and it saved me a consider amount of time. It's not a true white paste residue like you might get with a car wax but it definitely leaves an unsightly white discoloration to black trim and rubber door seals. Also, this product should not be allowed to dry because it becomes much more difficult to remove. It's easier to work in small sections and remove the cleanser a few minutes later before it dries. One of the cars I detailed had severely neglected black paint. In my opinion, the P21S cleanser acted as a gloss enhancer prior to using clay bar and applying P21S wax. However, it did not get remove any swirl marks.My initial impression is that this cleanser is best used to prepare your car for waxing but it's not a miracle worker. It's relatively easy to use but you should be cautious about letting it dry before buffing or getting it on black trim. I do believe that it can function as a gloss enhancer on dark colored paints. I did not detect any improvement in swirl mark reduction but the product also did not cause any new swirl marks.
