The best part is the easy adjustment and use of a sturdy clip rather than velcro for providing a secure fit. You can trim the excess strap if desired once you have found your correct adjustment. I have used this several times in my firsweek after surgery and am very satisfied with my purchase.Tip: Try supporting your arm on top of two or more pillows stacked on your bed as a way to put your sling on and off on your own. For those concerned about the mesh leaving a pattern on the skin of the user, the mesh is small enough that it leaves no marks on the skin, yet is very breathable. The strap and the part that holds the arm were too short. This particular one worked great. I also like the snapping clasps rather than just relying on strictly Velcro. It might seem like an insignificant feature, but if you’ve a had an injury or surgery you know how conscious you are about re-injuring yourself with a sling that has the potential of failing. I purchased this strictly for showering and it’s perfect for that task. It’s easy to put on solo, it dries quickly, and the clasps are strong. I haven’t had it long enough to judge its durability but the stitching seems solid. The cushion for the neck strap is nice and thick but I removed it for my needs since I only need to wear it long enough to take a shower. The padding would take too long to dry between showers.
