Sharp plastic... *by A*** on May 4, 2018* Okay, so Amazon shows I purchased this last March(2017), it's now May 2018. I have used this step stool on a basically daily basis, using it more days than not to rech my top cabinets. I only weigh 150 pounds. But the other day I was reaching up into my tall pantry closet, and without warning the entire stool broke out from under me, into about 3-4 pieces! A piece broke out right from the standing surface of the stool, making a large sharp jagged edge of plastic!Thanks to God, my foot was not cut. It was scratched on the bottom of my foot(the sole of my foot- not a fun place for a scratch) but I looked and it did not bleed. But it could have been much worse! I will attach a photo so that you can understand the damage. This is not acceptable! Even a little over a year of use, this is dangerous! My mother has owned these types for years and I don't remember her having this type of issue, but there are multiple brands producing this same type of item(looks nearly identical) and this was a pretty nasty break of this item. I will no longer be purchasing or recommending this item. I will be looking for a solid step stool(even this one I often kept open in my kitchen just because I used it so often! Sometimes multiple times a day) now. Be careful with this. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not what I expected *by L***S on May 2, 2017* Very misleading details in the description - it is NOT heavy duty and it will not hold 350 lbs without breaking. I am not even close to that and it is not very stable. It is made of cheap white plastic. I gave it three stars because of the weight claim. If weight of the person using it is not an issue then this is not too bad and awesome for little kids.It does have the anti slip dots. and it does fold flat for storage... Oh, and a cute little handle pops up...They got that right.But, if you are looking for something heavy duty enough for a large person to use - this is not it. It is a good step stool for someone maybe 250 lbs and smaller. 300 lbs is pushing it. 350 lbs could get you hurt.But then, what do you expect for $10? Keeping it for kids to use or a foot rest. Not worth sending back but buyer beware of the weight claim. ### ⭐ Dangerous - Sides Collapse *by L***S on June 4, 2017* the sides cave in way to easy ...
