Review: This product has been absolutely fantastic to use on my boat. The teak has never looked better and after months of direct sunlight appears to still look like I just apply it to the boat.
Review: I am beyond happy with this stuff!! I just bought a condo (built in the late 70's) and am slowly remodeling room by room. One of the bathrooms had an awful beige laminate countertop. Rather than spend a bunch of money ripping the vanity out and replacing, I decided to refinish and paint everything. This is 3 coats of black acrylic, with sparkles tossed over the 3rd coat, then EIGHT LAYERS of what CLAIMED to be high gloss polycrilic finish over. I followed the instructions, sanding with 300 grit between coats, but NO MATTER WHAT I did, it was NOT a gloss finish, and when water dropped on it, it left a discoloration for a few hours til it dried (even 2 weeks after the final coat). Decided to give this stuff a whirl. I sanded the poly with 300 again.... this pic is only ONE COAT of this stuff, 48 hours after application. As you can see, it's mirror gloss finish. I'm gonna let it cure for about a week before heavy "bathroom counter" use, but so far, it is GORGEOUS and exactly what I was wanting!!!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is epifanes varnish**
A: High quality marine varnish

**Q: Can this be applied over Total Boat's epoxy resin?**
A: Hello, yes it certainly can be. You just want to be sure to wash the amine blush off of the cured epoxy before applying the varnish, if not the varnish will not adhere properly. To remove the blush, wash the surface of the cured epoxy with soap, water and a scotch-brite pad. Thank you.

**Q: Is it clear or is it amber colored? Looking to coat an outdoor table with a colored design on it. I do not want it to alter the colors.**
A: It is amber. Most outdoor finishes will have an amber tint to them.

**Q: is this better then a epoxy resin for live edge bar?**
A: It depends on what you're using it for? If it's to protect would from ultraviolet then the only epoxy resin I know that does that is West System which is not a finish coat. You would still have to use a varnish over top of that. I have used total boat Gleam on my boat about a year ago and had excellent results with it. Being able to re coat every 2 to 3 hours as a big deal to me and with enough Coats lasts longer than most varnishes
