You can also can easily take the cushion out and add another in it. It's a nicely crafted shoe that is water resistant and comfortable. I wore them in the snow and they kept my feet dry and warm. They also have good tread to prevent a lot of slidding. **Q: Anyone use these as workboots?** A: Have been wearing them for years, have to replace about once per year in my framing days, they last a little longer now. After 6 months or so and they are starting to wear, you can walk through water but I would stand in it to long. I figured I was getting a good deal for the same shoes that cost a lot more in Canada and are an absolute must for the crazy low temperatures. I wore the shoes yesterday through some light rains and was shocked to see wet socks on returning home. It was hardly two hours and I never stepped into any puddles. The shoes are NOT waterproof. On closer inspection I noticed the text on the shoes says 'Outdoor Pereormance'. The shoes are fake and I got ripped off by Amazon's very own warehouse.
