I have a feeling that if you’re located in the US, you’re pretty much out of luck. I can’t speak for Android users but I have an iPhone and there’s no app compatible with this thing which was the main reason I purchased it. Does it come with a preinstalled platform?** A: Yes it works with out a smart phone.yea it comes with a preinstalles platform **Q: Do you need batteries?** A: Amazing how some people care whether it comes with batteries or not. It lights up and has sounds and a little car and a road and goes in reverse as well as forward.
