I highly recommend. I use H/P 4ah batteries for most of my tools, and the regular batteries for like Ryobi flashlights and non-critical things. I put one of these on a 4.5" brushless angle grinder which is a high-drain tool, and I can use it a long time on this 2ah battery before it's drained. Much longer than you might think. And with the small size battery, it makes the cordless grinder very compact, light and easy to use for fab and general use. I have several 4ah H-P batteries, but on the little brushless grinder I prefer the smaller 2ah battery (for general intermittent use). So I guess the point is, these little 2ah H-P batteries give your tool that extra oomph you get from a H-P battery and lasts a long time while keeping the tool as compact and light as can be. Don’t leave it in a cold place or it could experience battery failure and never charge again which is what happened to me. The charge speed was quick at around a couple hours I would say, the power lasted me around 30 minutes of decent to high useage with a drill for cleaning a car with a drill brush. The durability was what you’d expect from ryobi.
