## Overview

The ABUS Diskus 20/70 is a premium stainless steel disc padlock featuring a 360-degree anti-tamper design and a hardened 3/8" steel shackle. ## Description

The disc lock is a special form of padlock with some distinct advantages. The disc shape effectively combats the most common ways of forcing it open. The design with only a small opening in the shackle makes it very difficult to tamper with. As the ABUS Diskus is made mainly of stainless steel, it is used especially where security and protection against corrosion are required. 360-degree all-round protection. The Diskus family is available in models with diameters between 50 and 80 mm. The original Diskus is only available from ABUS. As a special model, the locks can be retrofitted with a disc cylinder (ABUS-Plus locking system) or cylinder pulling protection.

Review: Original Abus Diskus padlock received in excellent packaging and at an affordable price of Rs 1,500; it is made in Germany. I am glad that I received a slightly older version of the product, because the older version comes with a hardened steel shackle. The lock is equipped with a highly pick resistant Disk Detainer core made entirely from brass with false gates. I think Indian brands like Godrej, in collaboration with Abus, should fill the market with these reliable locks, instead of the dimple-key locks that can be picked in less than a minute!!
Review: Got this for my storage locker when between homes. Nothing is pick proof but this thing sure looks very pick resistant for anyone other then the lockpicking lawyer. It's very well built and feels like a quality item. Got it for cubesmart and it works but due to its size it's tricky to attach and lock. Once it's on its on. Recommend if you need a high quality lock securing you life.

A: Manufacturer website shows the shackle diameter is 25/64" (0.3906") which is 9.92 mm,

**Q: Please tell me how many keys does the lock come with?**
A: The Abus 20/70 padlock comes with two (2) keys.

**Q: Does this lock have a zinc cylinder?**
A: I don't know if it contains zinc; however, I have had it out in the elements (heat/snow) for two years now, and it looks good as new.
