**Q: Would this work on low pressure - such as bleeding a water tank when filling it ?  (i.e. 5-10 PSI ) ?**
A: Yes. That is actually one of the primary functions of this air valve.

**Q: is this for use on a hotwater baseboard to bleed air from baseboards**
A: No. This Valve is used on Boilers, Expansion tanks, etc. 
You can purchase Bleed Valves made for Baseboards from 
Amazon .

**Q: Would this automatically bleed air from a pool pump filter basket**
A: Yes BUT, depends on the volume of air to be vented and how fast.

**Q: Can this be mounted outside or will it freeze and rupture?**
A: It could freeze, it needs water to shut off so if temperatures are low enough it will freeze
