Review: Works great, cleans easily. - Works beautifully to make Taiyaki! I use mine on my gas stove on low. Butter one side and spread a thin layer of mochi batter. Once set I repeat on the other side. Once the second side is close to set I add filling and top with a little more batter around the edges to help seal it. Close and cook 2.5 minutes each side. Favorite fillings are oreo and fresh raspberry, biscotti with apricot jam, ham with jalapenos and cream cheese. Cleans easily with hot water and a rag or scrubber.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bit messy, still trying to get the hang of it

There's a great youtube tutorial on how to use this exact sort of taiyaki mold by Marc Matsumoto. I wish I saw the video before making a mess of my stove. I've wanted to make copycat ice cream taiyaki like the Samanco Ice Cream Sandwiches. So far that has NOT worked out, however I've made great breakfast taiyaki with egg, ham, and cheese.
