So I initially bought a variety pack because I have recently had a gastric bypass also. I took one in to my nutritionist and she reviewed the ingredients and nutrition information and gave them her stamp of approval. She doesn’t recommend frequent use, but knowing I’m a nurse who doesn’t often get breaks, this is something nutritious that I can keep in my pocket and finish in small increments when I have a moment.I know some reviewers like the flavor and texture and some don’t. I’m one who likes it. I’m not big on super sweet snacks and this is tart. It keeps me satisfied if I follow my nutritionist instructions and don’t drink for at least 30 minutes after consuming.Addendum: SmashPack ruined this by changing the formula. I loved this and had three boxes delivered monthly through subscribe and save. Now it tastes and feels like I’m drinking a watery yogurt. Don’t fix what ain’t broke smashpack.
