Review: Excellent little DAC - I have been testing this with a few IEM's including the Moondrop Aria's shown in the image and some Austrian Audio Hi-X55's. The only source I am using is my mobile phone, a Poco X3. I have been playing locally stored FLAC files upto 24/192 as well as Tidal MQA files via USB Audio Player Pro and desertcart HD streaming. Audio player pro gets around Android limitations and plays the files without limitation. This was proved when playing the same 24/192 file from it and Powerplayer with the indicator LED turning blue with USB audio player. Firstly the only issue for me is that it does drain my phone's battery faster than other DAC's I own. However it is definitely the best sounding. It opens up the soundstage, delivering well balanced bass, mids and treble. I have also played the Tidal MQA tracks from my phone through my desktop DAC to my HiFi but I prefer the sound of this one.

**Q: My unit gets very hot very quickly. this happens whether i'm using it with my computer, ipad or iphone. is this normal?**
A: Mine gets hot, too. It seems normal. The device provides 200mW BAL / 100mW SE of amplification, that's a small energy pull, but enough to warm up the device.

**Q: how many ohms does this Dac supply? like can, it run the drivers off the senhizer HD600?**
A: hd6xx & 7hz timeless via 2.5 balances cable work well

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent little DAC

### ⭐⭐ HIDIZS S9 PRO

Decided to buy based on Amir’s review on Audio Science, according to his expert opinion it ticks all the boxes and was excellent value for money. He also described the Audioquest Cobalt which I have as rubbish as it failed in all his tests. Connected it to my excellent Sennheiser IE800 IEM which also have the Snugs custom made ear pieces as used by professionals expecting to be blown away. The sound is barely better than my iPhone 12 which is truly rubbish, both being very thin with zero bass and very harsh. I personally wouldn’t pay £20 for this ridiculously overhyped piece of junk
