## Features

- DIWALI DECORATION FOR HOME & MAIN DOOR: 6 strings of crinkled orange and yellow marigold flowers, each 38 inches (96 cm) long, ending in a 5.5 inch ring wrapped in matte wool with hand-wrapped gold gota spokes, a soft pom-pom centre and pom-pom tassels with gold-coloured decorative bells. These marigold torans for Diwali use plastic flowers that do not wilt, so the colour that goes up on Dhanteras still looks the same on Bhai Dooj. Ring colours come assorted across the 6 strings.
- MARIGOLD GARLANDS DECORATION, LATKAN & TORAN FOR MAIN DOOR: Each string has a small ring at the top, about the size of a Rs 5 coin, so it hangs straight from a nail, hook or curtain rod. Hang these artificial garlands for decoration across a doorway, as a genda phool mala over the frame, as a flower string or ladi along a balcony grill, or side by side for a full backdrop. Artificial genda does not wilt by the second day the way fresh strings do, and it leaves no petals on the pooja room floor.
- FLOWERS FOR DECORATIONS BACKDROP - WALL HANGING DECORATION FOR NAVRATRI, GOLU & POOJA MANDIR: All 6 strings go up for Navratri from 11 October, Dussehra on 20 October, Karwa Chauth on 29 October, Dhanteras on 6 November and Diwali on 8 November. At 38 inches each they reach behind the golu steps, across the mandir or temple arch, on a wall beside the shubh labh, around the Lakshmi pujan chowki and on either side of the main door. For Diwali mandir decoration two strings frame the sthapana.
- WEDDING, HALDI, MEHENDI & HOUSE WARMING: The same 38 inch strings dress a haldi stage, a mehendi corner, a sangeet backdrop and a car for the baraat once the festive season turns into the November wedding season. As wedding decoration items for home, one pack of 6 dresses a single doorway; two or three packs fill a full arch or a photo backdrop. It also makes a griha pravesh gift, a house warming or housewarming present, or a return gift for pooja.
- HANDMADE IN MERTA CITY, RAJASTHAN - DECORATIVE BELLS, NO SOUND: Every string is hand-strung and every ring hand-wrapped with wool and gold gota in our own karigar workshop. Each bell is a gold-coloured decorative plastic bell with no clapper, so it looks festive but stays silent - no jingling at night. Small differences in shade and finish are the mark of handwork. Care: gently rub each flower after unboxing to fluff it up, wipe with a dry cloth, do not wash, and store loosely coiled.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I hang these on my main door?**
A: Each string has a small ring on top (about the size of a Rs 5 coin). Hang three strings on each side of the door frame on small nails or hooks. For a zigzag look, hang the middle string of each side a few inches lower.

**Q: How many packs do I need?**
A: One pack of 6 dresses a standard single door (about 3 ft wide). For a double door, a full pooja backdrop or a haldi stage, use two or three packs.

**Q: Are the flowers real?**
A: No. These are artificial marigold (genda) flowers with wool-wrapped rings and gold-coloured decorative plastic bells, so they do not wilt and can be reused every festival.

**Q: Why do the flowers look flat when they arrive?**
A: They are packed flat for shipping. Gently rub each flower between your fingers for a minute or two and it opens up full and fluffy.

**Q: Can I use them for weddings and Navratri too?**
A: Yes. Use them for Diwali, Dhanteras, Navratri, Ganpati, Griha Pravesh, and haldi or mehendi decoration at home.
