DEWALT DPG54 Protector Safety Glass - Clear/Yellow Frame, Clear Lens - 12 pairs : desertcart.ae: Tools & Home Improvement

Review: Comfortable and Lightweight for what I use them for... No Regrets on this purchase. - This review is for the clear safety glasses.... I had just started a new job as an equipment operator in a distribution center. Three days after I started, I had an issue with a lower eyelid due to an ingrown eyelash. It was uncomfortable, looked bad and was irritated even more by the environment and my duties operating reach trucks and order pickers. So I decided to pick up some safety glasses to protect my eye from the dust and breeze to see if it helped. The best price I could get on similar style safety glasses that were in stock locally was around $10. So, I ordered these in and dealt with my eye until the glasses arrived. Since the glasses arrived.... No regrets at all. The price was right and the glasses are so light and comfortable that I forget that I have that I have them on most times. They have not fogged up on me and seem to have just enough ventilation to prevent them from doing so. but not so much that the ventilation irritated my eyelid as it healed. I have no idea as to scratch resistance as I keep them protected inside my cotton warehouse gloves when I'm not wearing them. I'm also not in an environment where there is flying debris that may scratch them as in metal working, wood working etc. I was going to quit using them at work once my eyelid healed. But, they are so comfortable, I have kept using them daily as my eyes feel better at the end of my shift when I wear them vs. when I don't. The only issue I have had with the glasses, is that I get some glare when I need to pull pallets from racks at high heights with a reach truck. If that happens, I just remove them while I line up my forks and pull the skid from the rack. For the price, if you are looking for clear safety glasses, you may want to give these a shot for whatever you do. They have worked great for me, and I'll be buying another pair to use around the home, in the garage and in the yard.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: do they fit over prescription glasses?**
A: No, these fit too close to the face you need something like https://smile.amazon.com/DEWALT-DPG82-11-DPG82-11CTR-Concealer-Anti-Fog/dp/B01A12J3GI/ref=pd_bxgy_sccl_1/136-7528059-5411547?pd_rd_w=3SlF1&pf_rd_p=6b3eefea-7b16-43e9-bc45-2e332cbf99da&pf_rd_r=1KBP2HE1HVJN0WQK5YCJ&pd_rd_r=760bcd2a-ad22-4367-aa10-ffdf7eabcfe4&pd_rd_wg=4TkqR&pd_rd_i=B01A12J3GI&th=1

**Q: How wide are these glasses? 140 or more?**
A: I have a large head and they fit me really well. They are my favorite safety glasses to wear at work because my job requires me to work inside and outside for each job. The tint is enough to take some of the strain off my eyes when working up on a telephone pole but isn't enough to make me change glasses when I work inside with low light. They also stay on top of my head well when I don't need to wear them over my eyes.

**Q: Do these fit a petite woman's face?**
A: They are a "one size fits all" pair of safety glasses. I see no reason why they wouldn't fit a smaller face.

**Q: What's the functional difference between the indoor outdoor and multi colored? Can the multi colored be worn in and out doors?**
A: It is personal preference.
You need to try glasses in doors and out doors to see what you feel comfortable with.
