This call is awesome. I use it to get the attention of ducks that are flying around looking for buddies to land with on the other side of huge lakes or large fields. I also use it to quietly bring in ducks that flew over me and I'm want them to turn around, but no be too loud to spook them. I've even successfully used this thing as a goose call with a little creative hand movement around the end of the call. This is a great call. The easy to blow nature of this call makes it awesome for doing feeding or playing calls as well. It does it all! However, when it is cold, the Reeds are so thin and easy to blow that they sometimes stick to each other and will not blow at all. You have to make sure that the call is dry and at least the temperature of your hand before you can effectively use it. This is my go to call and I would recommend it to anybody, especially a beginner. This call can make any sound that a Mallard Hen can.

While it doesn’t look exactly like in the Pictures, it still looks very good and even better is the sound and ease of use, sounds amazing would definitely recommend this call!

Hard to see in advertisment but u will see some wood grain..very nice looking call but most importantly it sounds beautiful right out of the package highly recommended if you're not sure.

Just like all the other spouses on here, I really regret buying my partner this wonderful duck call. It’s awesome and creates the perfect quack with minimum skill required, but it is now employed for all sorts of situations.... waking up the children.....breaking up fights between the children....When the children won’t listen.... in traffic. Just be warned, as much as it will make certain people very happy, the family may suffer as a result 🙄🦆
